DIRECTIONS FOR ARRIVING TO HOTEL LEOPOLDO CASTIGLIONCELLO
- You can arrive by car. Our free car parking has 6 places; you can always freely park from 50 m on the right, in via Marconi or nearby.
- If you have a navigator, please try this address: VIA CORCOS 15, 57016 ROSIGNANO MARITTIMO, LIVORNO. With our normal address (VIA MARCONI 15, 57012 CASTIGLIONCELLO, LIVORNO) you can have incorrect roads.
FROM NORTH OF ITALY (about 300 km from MILANO):
- you take motorway A12 (E80) Genova - Rosignano Marittimo (direction Rosignano Marittimo) until final exit Rosignano Marittimo
- you follow on ss1 Via Aurelia (E80) direction Livorno until third exit Castiglioncello
- you go on until the centre of Castiglioncello: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caffé Ginori)
- you take via Marconi, the second on the right after Piazza della Vittoria (at the corner there is Caffé Aria, 100 metres from railways station): you can follow road sign for RISTORANTE LA CAPANNINA
FROM SOUTH OF ITALY (about 300 km from ROMA):
- you take motorway A12 (E80) Roma - Civitavecchia (direction Civitavecchia) until final exit Civitavecchia
- you follow on ss1 Via Aurelia (E80) direction Livorno until exit Castiglioncello
- you go on until the centre of Castiglioncello: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caffé Ginori)
- you take via Marconi, the second on the right after Piazza della Vittoria (at the corner there is Caffé Aria, 100 metres from railways station): you can follow road sign for RISTORANTE LA CAPANNINA
FROM PISA AIRPORT (35 km from CASTIGLIONCELLO):
- you take SS1 VIA AURELIA (E80) direction GROSSETO-ROMA (you don't need motorway A12)
- you follow on SS1 VIA AURELIA (E80) always along the coast, direction GROSSETO-ROMA
- you will find Quercianella: please follow along the coast for CASTIGLIONCELLO ZONA LITORANEA
- you will arrive to the centre of Castiglioncello: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caffé Ginori)
- you take via Marconi, the second on the right after Piazza della Vittoria (at the corner there is Caffé Aria, 100 metres from railways station): you can follow road sign for RISTORANTE LA CAPANNINA
FROM FLORENCE (100 km from CASTIGLIONCELLO):
- you take SGC FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO until LIVORNO
- you follow on SS1 VIA AURELIA (E80) always along the coast, direction GROSSETO-ROMA
- you will find Quercianella: please follow along the coast for CASTIGLIONCELLO ZONA LITORANEA
- you will arrive to the centre of Castiglioncello: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caffé Ginori)

FROM SIENA (about 2 hours by car):
- from SIENA you go to VOLTERRA
- from VOLTERRA you follow on ss 68 direction CECINA until SAN PIETRO IN PALAZZI (1 km before CECINA)
- in SAN PIETRO IN PALAZZI you take ss 1 Via Aurelia (E80) direction LIVORNO until CASTIGLIONCELLO
- you go on until the centre of CASTIGLIONCELLO: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caffé Ginori)
- you take via Marconi, the second on the right after Piazza della Vittoria (at the corner there is Caffé Aria, 100 metres from railways station): you can follow road sign for RISTORANTE LA CAPANNINA
You can arrive by train. HOTEL LEOPOLDO is far only 300 metres from Castiglioncello train station, on railways line Genova - Pisa - Roma. You exit from station and take on the right until the first on the left, via Marconi (at the corner there is Caffé Aria): you can follow road sign for RISTORANTE LA CAPANNINA.
Other nearest train stations are ROSIGNANO at 2 km, CECINA at 17 km, LIVORNO at 25 km. If you need a taxi (please reserve some hours early) you can call:
